The six christo-facsists on the Supreme (sigh) Court are
going to rule late Friday on the mifepristone case employing
the now infamous "Friday document dump", much too
often associated with bad news.
In the best of all possible worlds the Court would gently
advise the Texas apparatchik, uh, "judge" to pound
sand. But what I fear they WILL do is, as in the Hobbs decision,
throw any and all acceptance of any and all pharmaceuticals
to the States to decide for themselves.
The phrase that just popped into your head is probably "complete
and utter chaos", the same result from the Hobbs case.
And, of course, in chaos the rich can steal. And buy their
drugs and get their abortions from wherever in the world
they want. They're rich. Fuck everyone else.
I hope I'm wrong. I hope to Jeebus I'm wrong and good sense
wins out, but sensibility is not usually associated with
Kavanaugh, Gorsuch, Thomas, Barrett, and Alito so hold your
breath.
