Oh, yeah, here's what I was thinking.

It took Republican Kenneth Starr about 13 minutes and change to take the government info on the Clinton/Lewinski investigation and turn it into a cheap, sleazy pornographic novel called "The Starr Report".

Meanwhile, we have several million documents among the Epstein files with Fat Asshole's fingerprints all over them but Republican legislators don't seem to understand that a new Independent Counsel could use all of that information for at least a 5-volume set, complete with 8X10 glossy photos with circles and arrows and a paragraph on the back of each one, explaining what each one was to be used as evidence against him.

Maybe we can get that "Game of Thrones" guy to write it as he seems to be suffering some writer's block at the moment.

Yeahhhhh, that's the ticket.

Let me get this straight... an American aircraft carrier, the USS Lincoln, was at sea eight times longer than is usual and was running out of food, toilet paper, and sanity because Pete Hegseth "forgot" that a supply depot in Saudi Arabia had been attacked by [checks notes] the Iranian military which, according to Hegseth himself, had been reduced to a few sharp sticks and a dog-sled about "two weeks ago".

There is no doubt in my giant, massive, virtually indestructibly conspiratorial mind that similar other US Naval ships are currently suffering the consequences and indignities of a simple-minded alcoholic running the Pentagon, at the behest of a simple-minded pedophile. They just haven't hit the headlines yet.

Does that sound like a reasonable assumption to anyone else, apart from the "pedophile" part, which is an absolute given?

There is no "forgetting" by Pete here, in my view. Something nefarious is afoot in the halls of the Pentagon and its roots extend all the way back to Moscow.
