Susan Collins chose to seat three judges on the Supreme Court, each of whom swore that Roe V. Wade was settled law, though anyone with a functioning synapse in their head knew that Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and Barrett would eventually kill it. Fuck Collins.

Collins seated Brett Kavanaugh on the Supreme Court even though there was strong evidence that he was a drunk and a rapist. Good going, you Conservative skank.

I don't know what the real story is on Platner's sexual assaults (How many women claimed Trump sexually assaulted them? I've lost count.) but he certainly doesn't have the broad history that Trump does of creeping on young women and of probably raping and murdering them on Epstein Island. Or the thousands in Russian funds to pay them off. And he SURE as hell won't find a fan-girl judge like Eileen Cannon to make the whole thing go away.

What's clear is the Republican Party doesn't give a single solitary shit when it's member of their own party doing the raping. So hopefully Platner will get this problem sorted out before the powers-that-be in the Democratic Party step in and appoint a nice, quiet, charisma-less drone to take his place.

You know who this country needs as President?

Someone the complete opposite of the Orange Failure Machine sitting behind the Resolute Desk at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

I mean the absolute fucking opposite.

We need someone educated, moral, a legal scholar who believes in the Constitution, who has worked not only with the common people but also has real experience in the upper tiers of government. Someone who worked their way up from the bottom to become successful and respected for their accomplishments. Someone who earned a salary, someone who paid a rent check, a utility bill, a grocery bill, and has a rock solid marriage based on mutual affection. Someone with a curiosity about science and an awareness of the environment.

The gender wouldn't matter, the race wouldn't matter, only the qualifications would matter.

We had our chance with Kamala Harris.

The choice between the two candidates in 2024 couldn't have been more stark but the tech billionaires and the foreign investors needed something like Trump in the White House so they spent billions to get their puppet in the White house. And so here we are.

You know what else this country needs?

An electorate that isn't as dumb as fucking dirt and racist besides.

Perhaps they'll figure it out by November, or by 2028. Here's hoping.
