Uncomplimentary Colors
It's amazing, isn't it?
That asshole in the White House has managed to ruin almost the entire color palette for the people of this nation. You can hardly find a primary color that doesn't have some farcical relation to that fascist child-diddler in the White House.
"Did you really mean to paint your house flag blue, Steve?"
"Oh, my god! I did! God dammit!"
On top of that, it's been reported that the name "Donald" is currently almost dead last in the list of names Americans choose for their newborns. Which is fucking amazing, if you think about it, since there's still a broad swath of MAGA true beleivers in the U.S., men who can't wait for their sister or cousins (or both) to birth their incestrous babies, who can't wait to christen them as Don, Donald or Donaldina.

To repair the Reflecting Pool, which Trump's broken brain broke, they will first need to drain the water.
Which, of course, means that currently the next Trump no-bid crony is erecting a fence around the pool, which is precisely the security measure one needs to prevent antifa from invisibly creeping up in their commando frog suits and seeding the water with Trump's used diapers, his Iran peace agreement, Todd Blanche's soul, and anything else that stinks to high heaven before they drain all the water.
Geenyuss! Pure geenyuss!

The House and Senate recently passed two bills.
Two!
It's almost like.... Republicans have just given up and decided to do the bare minimum of work required to earn their paychecks along with their world-class health care.
I'm actually feeling rather faint at this turn of events.
The first "something" that was passed limited the Thing In the Oval Office's war powers. But you might as well ask a three-year-old to sign a bill that limits his access to candy. So, yeah, don't expect our Toddler-in-Chief to whip out his Sharpie and scribble a series of Klan hoods across the bottom of the bill anytime soon.
The second "something" was a bill that limits corporate acquisition of residential housing, one of the things that makes rents so increasingly high these days. Here was, for possibly the first time, a chance for the Algae King to reverse the downward trend of his polling and do something the poors would actually approve.
But, no.
Instead, the Chartreuse Goose demanded that the Senate first kill the filibuster and pass a bill he personally favors that treats women, particularly married women, like third-class citizens, making it difficult or impossible for them to vote. If so, THEN he might consider the possibility of entertaining a thought involving a memo of understanding about signing the bill.
In the meantime two judges have decreed that the White House must:
1. Keep their greasy little mitts off the Reflecting Pond until we can get some experts in there.
2. Get your ass in here and explain JUST why those tarps over the Kennedy Center are still there.
Just another day in a fascist state.

A note about my current cartoon schedule.
Back in the day, when politics still made some sort of sense, I'd sit down at the art table on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings and would not leave until I'd concocted something for the next day's posting. Since the fight for an idea would sometimes go late into the night (Fucking Trump!) this began to be hard on my sleep schedule, and thus my health in general.
I still hit my Monday, Wednesday and Friday marks, mostly, but the current schedule is to begin the creative process on those particular days and hopefully have something online before the clock strikes twelve. This basically means M-W-F is more like T-T-S but it's better for me physically.
Most importantly, I don't plan on killing Raging Pencils any time soon. That time will come when I'm just not mentally, or physically, able to create something I find worthwhile. Until then, I'm still having fun. Thanks for coming along for the ride.
Excelsior, you knotheads!
