It could be argued that Trump’s campaign promises of low inflation, ending the Ukraine conflict on Day One, no new wars, deportation of only those with criminal backgrounds, and a strict focus on America’s prosperity first could be interpreted as one big April Fool’s joke on his voters.

Or, more likely, Trump voters are just idiots, and he knows it.

Many notable conservatives in the media are turning against Trump and it's not because they're suddenly enlightened as to the dangers of his lame-brained kakistocracy.

It's because they know he's cooked.

He's a lame duck and the Big Money is going to be made from here on by tearing him down while simultaneously supporting a new populist from which to gain new eyes and ears for their advertisers.

So who's the new "luminary" in the GOP heavens? It the sure the fuck ain't JD Vance. Prove me wrong.
