To be clear, ICE is hiring unqualified, oftentimes illiterate individuals, training them inadequately, and giving them carte blanche to stomp the beejeezus out of anyone who gets in their way in order to instigate a civil war in this country. That's their sole purpose at the moment. They're not about immigration enforcement. Resist!

What happened today: A 37-year-old American citizen, Alex Pretti, a nurse for the VA, was peacefully capturing a group of ICE agents on video. Mr. Pretti was armed with a handgun, for which he had a license to carry, but never brandished it.

One of ICE agents confronted him, pushed him, tear-gassed him and then tried to take him into custody. Seven other ICE agents quickly joined the struggle, one pistol-whipping him at least four times as he lay on the ground. As Mr.Pretti was being pummeled by the other agents one of them inexplicably shot him. Immediately several other agents drew their pistols and shot him at least nine more times, three times in the back, as he lay helpless on the ground.

This is all on video.

ICE's story: He had a 9mm gun and he was threatening our agents. We're allowed to kill Americans who can lawfully carry weapons. End of story.

The Ice Storm of 2026 has finally reached Dallas, my home base. I harken back to the Snowpacalypse, which was a doozy, but my home never lost power, which was a freakin' miracle and I'm hoping for another.
