I'm going to short-hand the premise of the following rant like crazy.

<deep breath>

Okay, Trump needs Indiana to redistrict in favor of the GOP, for Trump's benefit in the upcoming mid-terms. The Representatives of Indiana seemed eager to do so until Trump called Minnesota Governor Tim Walz "seriously retarded" on his social media site.

Why? Because Trump is a fucking retard.

But, uh-oh, Indiana Senate Republican Mike Bohacek has a daughter who has Down syndrome and he took such offense at Trump's schoolyard petulance that he's now saying that he'll oppose redistricting.

As Nelson Muntz would say: "Haw-haw!"

Now that you're up to speed....

I'm not sharing this story to show what a moron Trump is, but to illustrate what a hypocritical twat Senator Bohacek is.

You see, if Bohacek had any scruples at ALL the story should be essentially about him telling Trump to "Go peddle your redistricting plans elsewhere because it's a terrible idea to mess with the country's voting system!"

Followed somewhat later by "Oh yeah, by the way, you're a fucking retard to call other people "retards". I have a child with Down syndrome, as do many others, and it's entirely unpresidential to say such things out loud. Go fuck yourself, you kiddie-diddling Russian puppet!"

What I'm pointing out here, with such utmost subtlety, is that Bohacek's principle responsibility was to the Constitution, not his child, in the same way that if a plane loses compression a parent's primary reaction should be to don the oxygen mask themselves, their child second, for obvious reasons.

So while I applaud Senator Bohacek for standing up against Trump, however meagerly, we'll just have to wait and see if his decision stands when the bodies start hitting the legislative floor.

Either way, my dear Senator, go fuck yourself.

I saw yesterday's video of Delta Don's Q&A on Air Force One in which he doubles down on his assertion about Governor Walz's mental integrity. Two things seem clear to me:

1. He's obviously being given the questions in advance and, knowing Trump, demanding them. Probably even writing them.

Example: The reporter's question was "Do you stand by your assertion that Walz is retarded?" not "Mr. President, Governor Walz is obviously a very intelligent man who could take your 'IQ test' hanging upside-down and blindfolded in a snowstorm and still ace it. So why do you degrade him instead of releasing the Epstein files?"

See what I mean?

2. It was hard not to notice, after he abruptly dismissed the press, that he was having great difficulty heading back to his quarters, waddling and lurching the whole way. Grabbing at whatever would steady him.

Afterward he spent the evening sundowning on Troof Social, puking up a stream of projectile insanity, over 160 posts, one of which claimed Michelle Obama was somehow using Biden's autopen to pardon people. For cash. (How DARE other people let themselves be bribed for pardons. That's Trump's job.)

Who is he writing that stuff to? Who is reading it besides those whose job is to gather evidence of his worsening deterioration or those who like to gawk at tragic traffic accidents?

I don't know what that MRI was supposed to find but Trump's behavior lately, especially towards women, indicates it must have been something even his narcissism can't dismiss. Perhaps the syphilis we've all heard rumors of has reached the event horizon and is now sucking what's left of his brain into the gravity well of madness.
