A Peace For You, A Piece For Me...
I suppose if Marco Rubio insists that it was the U.S. that wrote the Ukraine "peace plan" then that automatically means it's 100% grade-A Russian toilet paper. I mean, who would dare distrust the credentials of someone who has screwed the foreign pooch repeatedly as Rubio has in Venezuela, Nicaragua, Bolivia, the Honduras, Iran, etc.?
Also, he believes that God gave Palestine to the Jews, which means if we all believe hard enough then Tinkerbell will come back to life, uh, I mean, the Jews will be able to live in peace and harmony on the graves of their Palestinian genocide victims.

Every Red Hat in America was waiting by the media outlet of their choice this past Friday, probably drooling all over their assault rifles in rabid anticipation of the inevitable news of Zohran Momdani entering the Oval Office and then being Alexei Navalny-ed away by Tom Homan's gestapo to some South American or African Hell-hole, never to be seen again.
But then they haz a huuuge sad when they saw Trump treat Zohran like a long-lost real estate investor or a newly-minted Girl Scout, breaking out his biggest tween-eating smile for the "communist/socialist threat to Democracy" Trump had demonized for months prior to the election for New York Mayor.
There was much sadness in Mudville, and it was GREAT!
It's inspirational having someone as savvy and eloquent as Momdani working for the correct side of history but there's little doubt that very powerful forces are now tugging at his coat-tail and whispering in his ear, floating massive lucrative opportunities in his direction. Here's hoping he keeps his Democratic principles intact in a political system that now primarily rewards obeisance to the monied few rather than fealty to the Constitution and the American public who still believe in it.
Go get 'em, Zohran.

Today's 'toon is a take-off of a 'toon about copyright theft that has been reused often, especially on Reddit. It was created by Anthony Clark back in 2013 for his "Nedroid" webcomic. Here is the original:

I tried to keep my version as simple as Mr. Clark's, which explains its spare appearance.
By borrowing the idea I guess I'm a little guilty of "I Made It-ism" myself. But full credit is given here so I feel assured I won't go to Copyright Hell when I die.
