After-Care

I, personally, know three people who would not be among the living today if not for the Affordable Care Act. They all had cancer at one time and so every insurance company told them to piss right off.

"Who wants to insure people who would actually use our service and cost us money?" presumably went the logic of Big Insurance, Inc.

As such things happen the cancers of my acquaintances returned but, fortunately, by that time they were on Obamacare, which had excised the pre-existing condition once and for all from the health care system. As you might guess, all survived and are going strong today.

But let's take a moment to remember all those poor bastards who did not survive their diseases, who had to endure the pre-ACA Republican form of health care which, as it remains even today, "Die, and die quickly!"

Every single one of those deaths is on the hands of the Republican Party. Fucking rat-bastards.

Let me end this by saying I'd be happy to get rid of the ACA if we were to replace it with Medicare For All.

This is that same sort of conservative bullshit where Republicans are all "Ooh-ooh! We need to do something!" when one of their own suffers some dread disease or their child comes out of the closet and then the parents are suddenly icons of tolerance.

This is, by all appearances, Greene realizing that Trump's cult is dying on the vine, literally starving, and she's doing her best to get a little political air between herself and Diaper Donald so she can keep her cushy, gerrymandered gig. The cost she's now paying for "enlightenment" is her own fault. Every iota of it.

Yesterday I watched a Youtube reel by a man raising valid questions about you-know-who. As he spoke the text of his words were automatically posted at the bottom of the page, and at the point where he said "the Trump regime" Youtube texted it as "the Trump administration".

Really? You, too, Youtube?
