in the 'toon "five billion" but I've read
estimates
as high as ten billion will be spent on
the presidential campaign in 2016. We not
talking money from bake sales here.
It's
wayyyyyyyy past time that we begin mandating
public funding for
presidential
campaigns. If Fox can use polls to determine
who gets face-time with the meager handful
of septuagenarians who'll be watching the
GOP debates we can
certainly use the same polls to see who
deserves the federal campaign bucks.
